I'm Victor — a software engineer from Peru with 7+ years of experience building products that people actually use.

My main stack is TypeScript across the board: React Native for mobile, Next.js for web, NestJS for backend. But I pick whatever tool solves the problem best.

Why building in public

Most of what I've built lives behind company walls. I decided to change that. stdout is my system for shipping personal projects, documenting what I learn, and keeping myself accountable.

How this site works

No CMS, no database — just markdown files, JSON, and static HTML built with Astro and served from my VPS.

Beyond code

When I'm not shipping software, I'm probably reading about systems thinking, exploring new cities, or going down rabbit holes about whatever has my attention this week.
